Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026.
Scope and contact
This policy describes the Wrowo website, directory, accounts, forms, first-party analytics and bundled browser utilities. External products linked from the directory have their own privacy policies. Wrowo does not control their processing.
Send a request through Contact Wrowo. Include the relevant page URL and enough non-sensitive detail to investigate it.
Information supplied by you
Registration and account management use WordPress authentication and the name, email, account type and profile details you provide. Passwords are handled by WordPress password hashing rather than stored as readable text. Contact messages, tool submissions, article requests, newsletter sign-ups and partner applications contain the information submitted in their forms.
Provide only information needed for the request. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, private health records or other sensitive material through a general form. Optional subscriptions, vendor or affiliate workflows may record account status, submitted assets, referrals and transactions relevant to those services.
Website usage and local tools
When first-party analytics is enabled, Wrowo records page paths, times, device class, referrer, browser user-agent, a random visitor identifier and a salted hash derived from the IP address. A hash is pseudonymous information; it is not a guarantee of anonymity. Account-linked events can contain a user ID. Hosting infrastructure may maintain separate security/access logs.
The bundled text and image utility engine does not transmit utility input to Wrowo or a model API. Results live in the current browser workspace until copied or downloaded. Page visits can still be recorded separately. Custom tools added by an operator may have different behavior, which should be disclosed on their pages.
Why information is used and shared
Information is used to deliver account access, respond to requests, maintain listings, send requested newsletters, prevent abuse and understand usage. Newsletter emails can be stopped through the unsubscribe link. Essential service messages are separate from marketing.
Hosting, mail transport and services deliberately enabled by the operator may process information to provide the site. Applicable provider terms and international processing arrangements should be reviewed before supplying sensitive information. We do not describe all providers as certified or promise a particular hosting country.
The site loads web fonts from Bunny Fonts. Your browser sends that font service normal network request information, such as its IP address and browser headers, to display the fonts. The bundled utility engine does not send your utility input with these font requests.
Retention and your choices
First-party analytics records are pruned according to the operator’s retention setting; the bundled default is 365 days. The visitor cookie lasts up to 30 days. Account, contact and transaction records may remain while needed to operate the service, investigate abuse or meet applicable obligations. Copies in backups can persist until the backup cycle expires.
Request access, correction, account deletion or newsletter removal through Contact Wrowo. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and verification of the request. Do not publish identity documents in a public submission. Browser storage and cookies can be removed through browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences.
Advertising if enabled
Google advertising is not enabled by default on Wrowo. If Google ads are enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other sites. Personalized advertising choices are available at Google Ads Settings. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for frequency, measurement or fraud prevention.
Where required, advertising must be integrated with appropriate consent controls. Google’s requirements for personalized ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland include a Google-certified consent management platform. A basic site cookie notice does not establish this certification. The operator must disclose the actual advertising vendors and configuration when advertising is activated.
Security and changes
We use the platform’s authentication, form tokens and access controls, but no website can promise absolute security. Report a suspected issue privately through the contact form with a minimal reproducible description.
Material processing changes should be reflected in this policy and its update date. Read the Cookie Policy for the current bundled cookie/storage purposes.
