Editorial Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026.

Purpose and evidence

Our aim is to help a reader make a workable software shortlist and understand a repeatable task. We favor a concrete example, an explanation of limits and a link to primary evidence over unsupported superlatives.

Current product facts are checked against official documentation or announcements when preparing new guides. A source date and review date help readers judge currency. Directory imports can contain older provider descriptions; they are not automatically presented as fresh tests.

What labels mean

Featured is an editorial eligibility flag. The homepage rotates eligible published, non-sponsored tools every three days. The rotation is designed for discovery and does not imply a score or paid ranking. New eligible records enter the pool automatically.

The weekly discovery group uses distinct, non-bot Wrowo visits from the previous seven days when there are enough qualifying records. Otherwise it rotates the existing editorial trending pool and is labelled weekly picks. This is site-local interest, not measured global demand. Sponsorship is excluded from these automatic pools.

Reviews, comparisons and AI assistance

Comparisons explain a task, evaluation criteria and tradeoffs. We do not claim all listed tools have been tested or that a model benchmark predicts an individual user’s result. Pricing is a snapshot; providers are the final authority for current billing terms.

AI assistance may help organize a draft or code, but publishing remains an editorial responsibility. Claims, links, calculations and dates require checking. We do not publish scraped RSS articles or fabricate sources, quotations, reviewers or first-person product testing.

Corrections and commercial independence

Send factual corrections with the relevant URL, the disputed statement and a primary source if available. Material corrections should update the text and its review date. A vendor may clarify factual information but does not get undisclosed control over editorial conclusions.

Paid placements and affiliate links must be identified near the relevant decision or link. Advertising cannot buy fabricated ratings, hidden endorsements or a false claim of verification. See Advertise with Wrowo for partnership standards.

Submission quality and removal

Tool submissions should name the official provider, a functioning destination, the actual task and verifiable access conditions. Duplicate, deceptive, unsafe or rights-infringing submissions can be rejected or removed.

Content is maintained as information changes, but Wrowo cannot promise instantaneous updates for every imported record. Send a request through Contact Wrowo. Include the relevant page URL and enough non-sensitive detail to investigate it.
