Check an AI research answer against its original sources
Use a short source checklist before turning an AI answer into website content.

Source and context
Perplexity provides answers with sources so readers can investigate the underlying information. A citation still needs review.
Read the original source. Source reviewed October 15, 2026; availability can change.
A workflow you can repeat
Ask one focused question about your topic. Open the source for every important claim and check that it supports the exact wording. Compare the publication date with the event date. Prefer the product’s own documentation for features and prices. Record uncertainty rather than filling gaps. When writing a comparison, use the same task and constraints for each product; distinguish your observation from the provider’s claim.
Keep a review record
- Write the task, input and acceptance check before testing.
- Save the observed result and any error; avoid sharing private account data.
- Distinguish generated suggestions from facts checked against a source.
- Recheck product access and pricing before publishing a recommendation.
